We have had a great start to the year and we are excited for things to keep getting better and brighter. Just a reminder to all that our bathroom is quite a walk from our classroom, please dress your child in clothing that they can get in and out of easily for restroom purposes. Also, I know many of you are eager to come and pick your child up at the end of the day but when you stand at the classroom entrance, your presence does tend to distract from the end of day activities. Please wait in the hallway until 2:30, and then come back to the classroom.

I know we have many things in our classroom to use and play with, but we could always use a few extra items here and there. If anyone could assist and donate any of the following materials it would be greatly appreciated; empty toilet paper rolls, empty paper towel roles, placemats, magazines, and empty film canisters.
Welcome to a brand new school year! Ms. Carolyn and I are very excited to have you all with us in our classroom this year. We look forward to many exciting days ahead of us and hope all of you do too! Remember, we do provide food, toys, and blankets so you can keep yours safe at home.

All are welcome to dress up as their favorite ice cream topping on Ice Cream Day. January 21st is Martin Luther King Holiday and there will be no class on that day, if you are in need of childcare on that day please let Ms. Wanda or Ms. Shirley know. Also January 29th will be the 100th day of school.
I know we have many things in our classroom to use and play with, but we could always use a few extra items here and there. If anyone could assist and donate any of the following materials it would be greatly appreciated; empty soda boxes, tissue boxes, toilet paper rolls, and paper towel roles.
With the weather changing on a weekly basis, please remember that we do go outside at 9:10 in the morning; please pack your child with clothing appropriate for the weather. With the start of a new year, please do not forget to bring your child to school with a spare change of clothing just in case. We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday break and are excited for the second half of our school year. Let’s make it great!
