If anyone could assist our Pre-K classrooms and donate any of the following materials; gift wrap scraps, gift tags, magazines, and empty film canisters.

Reminders

Parent Conferences will be held from December 8th until December 18th, if you have not already signed up for a time, please do so. If any of the times cannot fit into your schedule please let Ms. Megan or Ms. Carolyn know so that we may work with you to go over your child’s progress report.
We will be having a Holiday party in the classroom, keep your eyes open for further notice on when we will be hosting this.
We will be out of school from December 22nd until January 5th. If you need childcare during that time please let Ms. Wanda or Ms. Shirley know as soon as possible so that they may accommodate you.

Donations

If anyone could assist our Pre-K classrooms and donate any of the following materials; old Halloween costumes, magazines, and empty film canisters.

Reminders

We will be out of school from November 11th as well as November 24th until November 28th, if you need childcare during that time please let Ms. Wanda and Ms. Shirley know as soon as possible. We will return to school on December 1st.
We will be having a Thanksgiving dinner in the classroom, keep your eyes open for further notice on when we will be hosting this.
During the month of November, both Pre-K classrooms will be active in helping our community. From November 10th until November 19th we will be having Jar Wars where each classroom competes to bring the most pennies in to be donated for Toys for Tots. We also will be having a food drive for a family for the holiday season.

Fall Festival

Our Fall Festival is coming up on October 30th from 6pm until 8pm. We do ask that each family donate one two-liter soda and one bag of candy. We invite all to come and participate in the fun and games of the event. Costumes are optional to wear, we hope to see you there!

Reminders

September 22nd was the first day of Fall, and with it the cool weather is coming. Please keep this in mind, don’t forget to pack a jacket as it is quite cool when we go outside at 9:20.
We will be out of school from October 9th until October 14th, if you need childcare during that time please let Ms. Wanda and Ms. Shirley know as soon as possible. We will return to school one October 15th.
October 30th is our Fall Festival; it begins at 6:00 and continues until 8:00. Our Fall Festival has many fun games and activities for all ages; we do ask that every family donate one bag of candy and one two-liter soda before the Fall Festival. We hope to see you all there!

Reminders

We have had a great start to the year and we are excited for things to keep getting better and brighter. Just a reminder to all that our bathroom is quite a walk from our classroom, please dress your child in clothing that they can get in and out of easily for restroom purposes. Also, I know many of you are eager to come and pick your child up at the end of the day but when you stand at the classroom entrance, your presence does tend to distract from the end of day activities. Please wait in the hallway until 2:30, and then come back to the classroom.

If anyone could assist and donate any of the following materials it would be greatly appreciated; empty toilet paper rolls, empty paper towel roles, placemats, magazines, and empty film canisters.

Welcome to a brand new school year! Ms. Carolyn and I are very excited to have you all with us in our classroom this year. We look forward to many exciting days ahead of us and hope all of you do too! Remember, we do provide food, toys, and blankets so you can keep yours safe at home.

Save the Date

Friday, January 18th we will have our Jar Wars celebration for all the money that was raised for Toys for Tots. We will have Ice Cream Day, where the whole day we will celebrate and enjoy ice cream. All are welcome to dress up as their favorite ice cream topping on Ice Cream Day. January 21st is Martin Luther King Holiday and there will be no class on that day, if you are in need of childcare on that day please let Ms. Wanda or Ms. Shirley know. Also January 29th will be the 100th day of school.

Reminders

With the weather changing on a weekly basis, please remember that we do go outside at 9:10 in the morning; please pack your child with clothing appropriate for the weather. With the start of a new year, please do not forget to bring your child to school with a spare change of clothing just in case. We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday break and are excited for the second half of our school year. Let’s make it great!
