Week of the Young Child

April 20th-24th is the Week of the Young Child and we will be celebrating it everyday that week in our classroom. Monday we will begin with Career Day, all students may dress as what they want to be when they grow up. Tuesday we will be taking a field trip to the fire station, make sure all permission slips are returned if you wish for your child to tour the smoke house. Wednesday is Earth Day; we will discuss our environment and things we can do to help preserve it. Thursday is our EDIMGIAFAD (Every Day In Middle Georgia Is Armed Forces Appreciation Day) celebration, you may dress in camouflage to show support for our troops. Friday is Field Day; we have a sign up list at the classroom entrance for anyone willing to assist in the events. We ask that each child bring one white t-shirt to decorate to wear for Field Day by April 21st. The Field Day events on Friday will begin at 9:05. Anyone interested in attending Field Day are welcome to attend.
